Where It All Began

By the age of 18 people expect you to know what you want to do for the rest of your life. I am well into my 20s and I am only starting to put the pieces together. Yes, I have done the college thing and got a B.A. in Communication Studies and a B.A. in Hispanic Linguistics. (Go Tar Heels!) People always ask "What are you passionate about?" Personally, I am a little good at a lot of things but only two things really stoke my enthusiasm: Travel and Photography.

Naturally, I started to think "How can I make money doing these?" But I only recently realized that that is where I went wrong. That is NOT the first question I should have asked myself but rather "How can I take these passions and create something that makes me happy and allows me to express myself?" If money comes out of it, it would just be the cherry on top.
